Peaceful place, beautiful plants and flowers. They give you a self guide tour book in English and Spanish. They accept dogs. It took us 1 hour total.

Visited Bancroft Garden on June 25th and was pleasantly surprised. The weather was mild, and I had about an hour to wander through this small neighborhood garden. The desert plant collection is the highlight — a really interesting variety of cacti and succulents, including several species and flowers I’d never seen before. Some were in bloom, which made the visit especially rewarding. The garden is compact but thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to enjoy without feeling rushed. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience.
